Robbie's dogs
These are preliminary drawings for a 3-dog painting.
I just started working on it!! It's going to be a bit of a challenge, compositionally. The canvas is a tiny bit narrower than I'd like, so I feel that the dogs look squashed together. I'm trying to alleviate that by varying their head levels. Could work.
Painting is always a challenge for me though. I prefer using pencil/charcoal/conte.
Naaahhh... I'm not going to post pictures as it takes shape as it seriously looks weirdly weird until the top layer gets painted on... sorry. I'll take pictures later. Well, very much later because I broke one camera by dropping it at the dog show (oops) and I lost *ahem* misplaced the charger and extra battery for the other camera. My bad.
I can be reached via the Contact Me button just above, or you can give me a call at: 709-730-0906.
I look forward to chatting about your special portrait!
A bit about Christine
I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Manitoba.
I moved with my family to beautiful Torbay, Newfoundland in 2006 and enjoy living in my new home! It's got such beautiful scenery and wonderful people.
I'm the mother of 3 wonderful young adults and have property rights to a much younger 4th child by dint of being her favourite Auntie. I have a pair of beautiful Cavalier King Charles Spaniels whom I absolutely adore.
I love sleeping in and waking to the smell of freshly brewed coffee. I enjoy sitting out in the sunshine. Most of all, I love chatting with people!
where is the 'I like' button. O, right, that's facebook... these are really nice, Chris. When are you doing the painting?
